Its stainless steel case and bi-directional bezel, ideally suited for this purpose, enveloped a unique dial design, chosen as much for its playfulness as for its clarity and legibility, essential qualities in a watch intended for use underwater. This was a watch for the intrepid and the ambitious.

However, these are just a frame for its distinctive elements, namely the vintage details on its black dial: the anti-shock label at 6 o’clock, the shorter indexes, the unique oversized luminescent numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 taken directly from the 1965 original and, most importantly, the retro Oris logo with the word “waterproof” below it, revived for the first time in Oris’ contemporary history. The new watch is delivered with an additional leather strap and its caseback is decorated with special engravings denoting the 60th anniversary of the design.

The depth of the dial is expressed through the combination of a gradient and a delicate relief pattern. An original logo based on the Horigome family crest, with “falcon feathers,” appears at the 6 o’clock position. The special dial design is unique to the collaboration with Horigome.

The gradient dial, crocodile-patterned strap, and thick hour and minute hands that enhance legibility combine to create a vintage-style design that Horigome enjoys.

The watch is offered as a limited edition with the Horigome family crest logo on the crystal case back, along with the words “LIMITED EDITION” and the serial number. The logo is also present on the special box.
